Shirley A. Kelly, 82, of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at Grove City Hospital.

Shirley was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Arabelle L. (Enterline) Alcorn.

She graduated from Victory Joint School in 1960. Shirley married James A. Kelly on June 8, 1963, in Barkeyville. Jim passed away Feb. 3, 2008. She was a devoted housewife and mother. Shirley also worked for Fellowship Manor in Grove City in the general housekeeping department.

She was an avid sewer and reader and liked to cook. Shirley loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing board games, card games or dice was one of her favorite things to do with them. Shirley looked forward to gardening each spring. She was member of the West Unity Community Church, where she enjoyed attending the many functions at the church.

Shirley is survived by her children, Curtis (Elaine) Kelly, of Slippery Rock, and Brenda (Douglas) Auvil, of Butler; her grandchildren, Brian Kelly, Courtney Kelly, Nicole (Aaron) Zitalone and Kristin Auvil. Shirley has one great-grandson, Lorenzo Zitalone. Shirley’s sister, Donna Early survives; as do numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Welcomed into heaven by her parents; husband; her brothers, Robert, Clarence, Raymond “Bud,” Richard, William, Ronald, Charles “Jr” Alcorn; and her sisters, Helen Guiste-Diem, Jean Reitz, Delores Heslop, Linda Bryan.

KELLY — Family of Shirley A. Kelly, who died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, will welcome friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at JAMISON MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home, with Pastor Boyd Smith from West Unity Community Church officiating.

Burial will take place at Prairie Cemetery.
