William “Jack” J. Tagmyer, 80, of Renfrew, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025.

Born Oct. 31, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John Henry and Mildred Tagmyer.

Jack proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He served three Vietnam tours and was awarded a bronze star and three Purple Hearts. Jack was the president of his Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club Chapter. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 47 years, Kathleen Tagmyer; his stepchildren, Paul (Melissa) Gedraitis and Lisa (Keith) Pierce; his grandchildren, Tabetha, Heather, Jonathan, Nick and Samantha; his great-grandchildren, Gregory and Emily; his brother, John (Kathie); and his nephews, Shane and Jeff.

TAGMYER — Friends and family of William “Jack” J. Tagmyer, who died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, will be received from noon to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

Jack will be laid to rest with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
