Loretta Schaltenbrand, 75, of Sarver, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at her home.

Born May 21, 1950, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Frank Ziacik and Agnes Cupec Ziacik.

Loretta had worked as a preschool teacher at Kelly’s Kids. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cabot. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bingo, going to the casino, yard sales and collecting antiques. Her passion was going to the races to watch her son and grandson.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy (Shawn) Schaltenbrand Yetter, of Cabot; her son, Kenneth A. Schaltenbrand, of Sarver; two brothers, Frank (Mary Jean) Zaicik, of Sarver and Tom (Tracy) Ziacik, of Cranberry Township; three sisters, Andrea Ammon, of Florida, Marlene (Kent) Crytzer, of Sarver, and Margaret Freehling, of Sarver; three grandchildren, Levi Yetter, Brooke Yetter and Ava Schaltenbrand; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ken Schaltenbrand; and two sisters, Mary Agnes Tady and Barbara Ziacik.

SCHALTENBRAND — Friends of Loretta Schaltenbrand, who died Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg. Services will follow at 7 p.m.

Interment will follow in Mt. Airy Cemetery in Natrona Heights.
