Daniel Bolte, 89, of Butler, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, after a short illness.

He was born Aug. 11, 1936, to Joseph F. Bolte and Stella M. McCollough Bolte.

He married Donna Miller nearly 70 years ago. Dan was a beekeeper.

In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by three sons, Patrick (Joyce Bowersox), Erin (Diane Vlasic) and Brian; one daughter, Daneen Blaugher; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, George, Henry and Vincent; four sisters, Virginia Smith, Nancy Kradel, Rita Rozic and Leona Shearer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Alexis Arthur; three brothers, Joseph, John and Harold; and two sisters, Betty Rago and Cecilia Bronder.
