Pauline Finucan
Pauline R. (Ripper) Finucan, 74, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
She was born in Ellwood City on Aug. 28, 1951, to the late Ray and Patricia (Rape) Ripper. After graduating high school, she attended and graduated from Butler Memorial Hospital Nursing School.
She raised her sons and then worked at Trader Horn; she loved working there.
Pauline was known for being a loving mother and wife. Her family was her life. She was always her boys’ No. 1 fan when they played sports growing up. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts and painting.
Pauline was the beloved wife of William Finucan, whom she married Jan. 12, 1973; mother of Michael (Tamara), Todd and Chad Finucan; sister of Laurie Sunday and Beck Lutz; and grandmother of Mason, Zarian, Teegan, Brogan, Lowen, Reilynn, Aleaha and Zavier Finucan.
Along with her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved son, Nathan Finucan; and her brother, Brian Ripper.
FINUCAN — Family and friends of Pauline R. (Ripper) Finucan, who died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.
Burial will be held privately.
