Eyeglass collection gets big donation

Butler Lions Club to send 3,700 pairs overseas
The Butler Lions Club’s ongoing project to collect used eyeglasses for people overseas got eye-widening support on Oct. 6.
Lions volunteers Janet and Barry Flecken, delivered 3,700 pairs of glasses to Brother’s Brother Foundation to be distributed to people in countries where prescription glasses are needed.
People who would like to contribute to the Butler Lions Club’s glasses drive can call the Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong at 724-287-4059 to make a donation.
