Cleo Jane (Lehman) Clark, of Butler, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital, at the age of 88.

Cleo was born June 15, 1937, in New Bremen, N.Y., to Elmer Z. and Rosella (Roggie) Lehman. She was a lifelong learner who earned a master’s in nursing and spent her career caring for others. She last worked as a professor at Butler County Community College. She was known as a patient, insightful and empathetic leader.

Cleo was a role model to her family and a beloved friend to many. She will be remembered for her quiet thoughtfulness and gentle nature. She loved her pets like children, was a passionate collector of dolls from around the world, and loved to decorate her warm and welcoming home for Christmas. She was a faithful follower of Christ who attended North Main Street Church of God, where she led Bible studies.

She is survived by her sister, Maietta Moshier; her brother-in-law, Michael Zehr, many nieces, nephews, friends, and her Pekingese, Bitsy, all of whom she showered with love and who miss her and loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Clark; her parents; four brothers, Gilbert and Esther (Roggie) Lehman, Larry and Joan (Steiner) Lehman, Milton and Ruby (Williams) Lehman and Elmer and Eileen (Zehr) Lehman; a sister, Dolores Zehr; a sister and brother-in-law, Jay and Ella Mae Lehman; her brother-in-law, Arnold Moshier; an infant sister, Beulah; and three nephews, Lloyd Lehman, Richard Lehman and Francis Lehman.

CLARK — A memorial service for Cleo Jane (Lehman) Clark, who died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Extension, Butler, with Pastor Brandon Lenhart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Mennonite Central Committee, P.O. Box 500, Akron, PA 17501-0500.

Arrangements are under the direction of THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
