One patient flown from Friday morning crash on Route 8

One person was flown from the scene when a car drove over a hillside Friday morning, Oct. 10, on Route 8 in Penn Township.
The call came in around 6:25 a.m. for a single vehicle over the hillside near 313 Pittsburgh Road, according to Butler County Emergency Services dispatch reports.
A dispatcher said a tree also fell on Route 8 around the same time, and at least two vehicles hit the tree.
Crews cleared the scene around 7:36 a.m. Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department, Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company, Butler Ambulance Service and state police in Butler responded.
