Vehicle ignites while driving in Summit Township

A vehicle ignited while driving Saturday, Oct. 4, down Linwood Drive in Summit Township, according to police.
Travis W. Everetts, 36, of Butler, was driving a Hyundai Sonata around 2:10 p.m. when it began to smoke then caught fire while traveling east, police said in a Sunday news release. No injuries were reported from the incident.
Butler Bureau of Fire and Herman Volunteer Fire Company responded to the fire. The vehicle was towed by Atwell Towing.
