Bonnie Cheryl (Parker) Morris, 66, of Prospect, peacefully passed away in hospice care Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2025, at her residence, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Jan. 12, 1959, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Rebecca Merriman Parker.

She was a member of Meridian Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, where she was a past deacon and enjoyed volunteering with the church’s food cupboard.

Bonnie was a full-time volunteer with Butler County Special Olympics, where she enjoyed working with the bowling and bocce teams.

Her hobbies were bingo, Special Olympics and going up to camp at Lake Erie.

She is survived by her husband, Neil A. Morris, whom she married July 7, 1976; her children, Carrie (Elvis) Morris-Major of Butler and Neil G. Morris of Prospect; two grandsons, Kyle Major and Aaron Major; sister, Brenda Merriman of Fort Myers, Fla.; and her brother, James Merriman of Beaver Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Neil A. Morris; and an infant daughter.

MORRIS — Visitation for Bonnie Cheryl (Parker) Morris, who died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.

The funeral will be on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Meridian Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Franklin, her church pastor, officiating.

Interment will be at Old Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Callery.
