Eva M. Pflugh, 94, of Saxonburg, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at Magnolia Place of Saxonburg.

Born Feb. 13, 1931, in Clinton Township, she was the daughter of William J. Thrower and Roberta Brewer Thrower.

Eva was vice president of H. Lewis Pflugh Trucking, owner of E & L Car Wash and had also worked at Saxonburg Ceramics. She was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed bowling, camping and playing cards.

Surviving are two sons, Chris (Loretta) Pflugh, of Saxonburg, and Jay (Patti) Pflugh, of Sarver; two sisters-in-law, Carrie Butler, of Saxonburg, and Barbara Pflugh, of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Amanda (Andrew) Barnes, Nicholas (Mary) Pflugh, Jayme (Cory) Steighner, Jason (Kristen) Pflugh and Joshua (Emily) Pflugh; two stepgrandchildren, Joshua (Mandy) Gratz and Meghan (Matthew) Boyle; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H. Lewis Pflugh; one brother, John W. Thrower; and her twin sister, Edith Smith.

PFLUGH — Friends of Eva M. Pflugh, who died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Dorsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church.
