Steve Lojek Jr., 89, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 8, 1936, in Russellton, the son of the late Steve Lojek Sr. and Helen (Kotermanski) Lojek.

Steve retired as a truck driver from Witco Chemical Corp. Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging out with the guys at the mall and walking.

Surviving are his three daughters, Debra (Dan) Williams, of McDonald, Ohio, Suzanne (Ancel) Thompson, of San Diego, Calif., and Stephanie (Bill) Mahan, of Butler; his grandchildren, Sarah (Jason) Shaw, Tara (Tyler) Ray, Megan (Christian) Nossokoff, Olivia (Will) Szabo and Abbey Mahan; his great-grandchildren, Bennett, Anabelle and Hutson Shaw, and Caralina and Waylynn Ray; as well as numerous brothers and sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

LOJEK — A celebration of life for Steve Lojek Jr., who died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, will be held in an open house format from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at VFW Saxonburg Post 7376, 572 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Family and friends are welcome to attend at their convenience. The family looks forward to sharing memories and honoring Steve's life together.
