Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association is awarding “financial gifts” to Butler County nonprofits for the ninth year this fall.

Since 2016, the program has given over $173,000 to community organizations out of, in total, $379,000 in financial gifts and donations to nonprofits.

County organizations must submit an application at www.bantamjeepfestival.com/financial-gift-application by 5 p.m. Oct. 31.

Applicants must provide proof of nonprofit 501(c)(3) status and explain in 500 words or less how they benefit the community and how any potential funds received will be used. After gifts are awarded, recipients will be expected to provide updates on their projects’ progress and photos to demonstrate the gifts’ impact.
