Butler Township’s Octoberfest to benefit Camp Cadet
Butler Township will host its second Octoberfest, with proceeds benefiting Camp Cadet Troop D, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 4 at Preston Park.
The event will feature specially crafted beers by Recon Brewery and food by Munchie Man, Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Butler Lacrosse Club and First Baptist Church.
A 50/50 raffle, pumpkin pull game, live music and vendors will populate the park during the event, offering entertainment for attendees.
A “Kid’s Zone” also will be on hand with a pumpkin ring toss, face painting, German-themed activities, child basket raffles, and visits from a balloon artist and stilt walkers from Weird Eric.
According to its website, Camp Cadet Troop D is a five-day camp experience for youth age 12 to 15 who reside in Butler, Beaver, Lawrence and Mercer counties.
