Parking lot on North Main Street to reopen Wednesday
The parking lot at North Main Street in Butler is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 24, and residents will have a little time to take advantage of free parking.
The parking lot at the corner of North Main and Locust streets was closed earlier this year along with two other parking lots in the center of the city for renovation.
All parking meters were removed as part of the renovation, according to Butler Mayor Bob Dandoy, and no new payment equipment has been installed yet.
“We are going to treat the flat lots like we do Main Street,” Dandoy said. “It will be two hours of free parking in the three lots until equipment is installed.”
