Seneca Valley School District’s homecoming theme this year will have students celebrating “Under the Stars.”

Various events open to the public also will be included at this year’s homecoming carnival, which will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, followed by the homecoming parade at 7 p.m.

The carnival will include food and games, while the parade will include Seneca Valley’s marching band, fire trucks, and floats made by teams and organizations.

Fireworks at NexTier Stadium after the parade will cap off the festivities Thursday.

The homecoming king and queen will be named at 6:30 p.m. Friday at NexTier Stadium before the Raiders take on Mt. Lebanon.

The homecoming dance is Saturday.
