Quickle

Patricia Jean Quickle, 75, of Harmony, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.

She was born May 5, 1950, at home in Zelienople, to the late Renick and Lola (Mullenax) Underwood. She grew up in Zelienople where she also raised her children.

She attended Zelienople High School. She held various jobs over the years, as well as being a business owner, homemaker and crafter extraordinaire.

Patty and Larry spent 19 years living in West Virginia before coming back to the area to be near family. In addition to spending time with her family and pets, Patty also enjoyed visiting the casino, playing games like “Tetris” and “Ladybug,” doing crossword puzzles, going to flea markets and cheering on the Steelers. She was a defender of her family, a lover of country music, enjoyed her hot fudge sundaes and was a woman of many words.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband, Larry, with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage on Sept. 9; her children, Larry Jr. (Jasmine) Quickle, Nick (Jen Boros) Quickle, Autumn (Eric) Oliver and Brett (Amy) Quickle; her grandchildren Cade, Carly, Alexa (Levi) Hayes, Tamra (Mike) Diaz, Jay Martin, Johnalynn Fagan, Jeananne and Lennon; great-grandchildren Chloe, Aerith, Rinoa, Iris and Mikey; and siblings, Charlie Underwood, Cora Sue Johnston, Bobby (Lynn) Underwood and Jimmy Underwood. She also had numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Sandy Underwood and Crystal Underwood; and brother-in-law, Harry Johnston.

QUICKLE — A funeral service for Patricia Jean Quickle, who died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Maley, officiating.
