Nevin Critchlow
Nevin P. Critchlow, 92, of Harrisville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital, following a brief illness.
Nevin was born in Harrisville on May 15, 1933, to Bertrum E. and Edna Mae Critchlow.
He married Catherine E. Seelbaugh on April 21, 1956. She preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2024.
He was a graduate of Harrisville High School. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army.
Nevin retired from Witco Chemical Company, Petrolia, where he worked for many years.
Nevin was a member of the Harrisville American Legion, Post 852. He was close to receiving his 70-year pin.
Nevin was a longtime member of the Free and Accepted Masons. He was active with various lodges, earning his 32nd Degree and was a past Grand Master.
He was a member of Harrisville United Methodist Church.
Nevin is survived by, a son, Stephen (Tammy) Wengryn; a daughter, Nancy (David) Anzur; a granddaughter, Jaia (Joshua) Orient; and a son-in-law, Garry Miller of Mercer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two daughters, Linda Critchlow and Deborah L. Miller; a sister, Dee Best; and a brother, Alan Critchlow.
CRITCHLOW — Private family services for Nevin P. Critchlow, who died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, will be held at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.
Burial with military honors will be held and anyone is welcome to attend at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.
