Dolores Maude (Forsythe) Lee, 95, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025.

She was born June 5, 1930, in Uniontown, Pa., a daughter of the late Ralph and Bertha Forsythe of Smock, Pa.

Dolores dedicated her life to creating a welcoming and loving home for her husband of 52 years and her five children. She was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church in Butler, and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

In recent years, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grands, her cats and crossword puzzles. Prior to her move to Virginia, she loved visiting friends at the local senior center in Butler and greeting everyone at the local Walmart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Roscoe Lee; her daughter, Joyce Smith; and her sisters, Beryl Kasonvich and Pauline Majka.

She is survived by her three sons, Ralph and his wife, Christine, of Monroe, N.C., Dale and wife, Rose, of Butler, and Gary and his wife, Annie, of Rio Vista, Texas; her daughter, Iris Jordan and her husband, Richard, of Fredericksburg, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and a nephew.

LEE — The family of Dolores Maude (Forsythe) Lee, who died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at BLAIR LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Rear 305 Independence St., Perryopolis, Pa., where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Bowman Flatwoods Cemetery, Vanderbilt, Pa.
