Clyde Stoops
Clyde Henry Stoops took his final rest in the arms of his loving parents, Mike and Mindy Stoops, on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Magee Hospital.
Clyde’s presence and light will be missed more than Mike and Mindy have the words to describe. Clyde arrived on Sept. 14, at 4:04 p.m., a blessing placed softly into the arms of his loving parents. Though Clyde was with his family for only a brief moment, that’s all the time he needed to change the lives of those he touched forever.
Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief, but incredibly meaningful, time with Clyde. Clyde Henry Stoops is survived by his loving family. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Mikeal and Mindy Stoops; brother, Frank; sister, Elizabeth; uncles, Steve and Dacota; and aunts, Anna and Rachel.
He is loved and cherished by his grandparents, Frank and Pamela Stoops, Jason and Raena Leasure, and Keith Finklea; and great-grandparents, George and Diane McCaslin, Larry and Shirley Leasure and Iris Carter. Additionally, he leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Clyde was greeted in heaven by the following, great-grandparents, Clyde Carter, Ray Christy, Eleanora and Leo Beck, Hugh Stewart, John Dodds, and Earl and Betty Stoops; his great-uncle, Patrick Buzzard; and great-aunt, Lena Vandervort.
STOOPS — Services for Clyde Henry Stoops, who died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, were held at Concord Presbyterian Church in Hooker, Pa., on Thursday, Sept. 18, followed by a horse drawn procession to Concord Cemetery, where he was laid to rest followed by a dove release.
