PennDOT delays traffic pattern changes on Three Degree Road to Oct. 1

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Thursday planned traffic pattern changes and lane restrictions on Three Degree Road, which were set to commence Sept. 25, have been pushed back to Oct. 1.

On that day, starting at 8 p.m., lane restrictions and flaggers will be in place along Route 228 at the intersections with Helenz Way, Three Degree Road and Robert Williams Drive. The restrictions will end on Oct. 2 at 6 a.m.

This traffic modification is part of PennDOT’s ongoing Three Degree Road improvement project, which is expected to finish in November 2026 at a cost of $55.8 million.
