Lernerville Speedway: Daison Pursley, Tanner Thorson claim first high limit victories in weekend races
Daison Pursley won the Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway on Saturday, his first Kubota High Limit Racing victory.
Pursley earned the pole position before the feature race and led much of the race. Only after a restart did he slip, down to fourth, before making moves with 10 laps left to earn the $30,000 prize.
His win came one night after Tanner Thorson won from the 12th-starting spot for his first high limit victory, as well.
Thorson finished seventh in Saturday’s race; Pursley came in third Friday.
