Philip J. Wagner, 86, of Zelienople, passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025.

Born Oct. 6, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Michael and Alberta (Schuler) Wagner.

Phil served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years and was in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years. He then went on to work as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years. Phil was also part of the Pittsburgh National Association of Letter Carriers, Branch 84. In his free time, he enjoyed senior softball, jigsaw puzzles and building model ships. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sisters, Nancy Stephany, of Avalon, and Carol Reily, of Avalon; his sisters-in-law, Judith Aitken, of Cranberry Township and Pat Wagner, of the North Hills; his brother-in-law, Grant R. (Sandi) Genter, of New York; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Lee Wagner; and his brother, Ed Wagner.

WAGNER — Friends and family of Philip J. Wagner, who died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A blessing service will be held at noon Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the funeral home.

Phil will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township with military honors.
