Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Sept. 3 — Timothy E. Yendell, 62, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 29 traffic stop. Police said Yendell had a blood alcohol content of 0.191%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Butler

Sept. 3 — Ashley Marie Godfrey, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft following an Aug. 28 incident. Police said Godfrey took $30 from a cash register.

Butler Twp

Sept. 3 — Charles A. Rogers, 67, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following an Aug. 14 crash. Police said Rogers showed signs of impairment.

Sept. 3 — Vance Edward Reinhart, 56, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft and receiving stolen property following a July 8 incident. Police said Reinhart stole $60 in cash.

Sept. 3 — Joseph Valentine Poskin IV, 55, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 4 incident. Police said Poskin had a blood alcohol content of 0.184%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Sept. 3 — Richard B. Kamerer, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 29 traffic stop. Police said Kamerer had a crack pipe with burned residue.

Sept. 3 — Clecy Edward Thompson, 35, of Pittsburgh, was charged with misdemeanor vehicle operation without an ignition interlock following a July 16 crash. Police said Thompson was driving without a required ignition interlock system.

Cranberry Twp

Sept. 3 — George Louis Montgomery, 48, of Donora, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing following an Aug. 12 incident. Police said Montgomery was trespassing in a Home Depot store.

Sept. 4 — Alexis Jo Reed, 37, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 3 incident. Police said Reed punched a woman in the left side of her jaw.

Jackson Twp

Sept. 1 — Andrew C. Cypher, 36, of Zelienople, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault following a Sept. 1 incident. Police said Cypher strangled a woman with his hands and a pillow.

Sept. 3 — Justin Leon Yanssens, 45, of Fombell, was charged with ungraded DUI following an Aug. 8 incident. Police said Yanssens showed signs of impairment.

State police, Butler

May 26 — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash around 1 a.m. on Moran Road near Herman Road in Summit Township. Police said Christopher Karenbauer, 24, of Butler, was driving a Subaru BRZ that slid of the road and struck a tree. Police determined Karenbauer was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He was taken by Butler Ambulance Service to ACMH Hospital with suspected serious injuries.

Sept. 4 — Mitchell A. Hilliard, 39, of Hilliards, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following an Aug. 10 incident in Washington Township. Police said Hilliard pointed a gun at someone.

Sept. 4 — Tyler William Ealy, 18, of Bruin, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 25 crash in Bruin. Police said Ealy tested positive for methamphetamine and had a glass smoking device, a plastic smoking device and a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine residue.

Sept. 4 — Caleigh Elizabeth Hosack, 21, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a June 25 crash in Bruin. Police said Hosack had a glass smoking device, a plastic smoking device and a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine residue.

Sept. 4 — Shawn Eric Gilliland, 51, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 17 traffic stop in Oakland Township. Police said Gilliland showed signs of impairment.

Sept. 4 — David Roy Lewis Jr., 51, of Fenelton, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of animal neglect and one misdemeanor count of animal cruelty following a June 14 incident in Clearfield Township. Police said Lewis sold a dog that was underweight, malnourished and had a severe ear infection.
