Melissa Ann Lewetag, 42, of Saxonburg, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at her home, of natural causes.

Born May 13, 1983, in Butler, she was the daughter of Robert Lewetag and June (Green) Helch.

Melissa had worked for Alpine Pools in Allison Park for the last seven years. She was very detail-oriented, a good listener and knew how to tackle problems head-on.

She always put others first, always lending a helping hand to all. She had a great spirit. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and co-worker. Where she touched, there is going to be a huge hole, she will be greatly missed. She enjoyed playing basketball and softball. She was a very good artist, enjoying painting, crafting and scrapbooking. She enjoyed spending time with children doing projects. In high school, she was voted best dressed.

Surviving are her father, Robert Lewetag, of Saxonburg; her mother, June (Richard) Helch, of East Brady; her brother, Erik Lewetag, of Saxonburg; one stepsister, Jennifer (Shawn) Moody Helch, of Zelienople; two stepbrothers, Ricky (Chrichelle) Helch, of East Brady, and Daniel (Elysa) Helch, of Chicora; her paternal grandmother, Marilyn Jursa, of Saxonburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as stepaunts, stepuncles, stepnieces and stepnephews.

LEWETAG — Friends of Melissa Ann Lewetag, who died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A blessing service will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
