Morning fire reported in Slippery Rock Township

Several fire stations were dispatched Wednesday morning, Sept. 10, to a home with a porch on fire in Slippery Rock Township, according to Butler County Emergency Services Dispatch reports.
The fire was reported just after 8 a.m. in the 100 block of Weathervane Drive. Scanner traffic indicated crews saw no evident fire from the exterior when they arrived.
The incident was held to Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company’s Station 33 around 8:15 a.m.
