A Mercer Township man was charged after allegedly exposing himself to a woman and her daughter during a lawn dispute in Mercer Township.

James Richard Getz, 56, was charged Monday, Sept. 8, with misdemeanor indecent exposure and two summary charges following a Sept. 1 incident.

Police said they were called to the area for reports of Getz harassing neighbors. Police said Getz and the woman had repeated issues with each other over grass.

The woman told police she was sitting inside her home when she heard yelling from outside getting increasingly louder. She went outside to find Getz yelling at a man.

The woman said she told Getz to stop before he exposed his genitals to her while her daughter was outside, police said.

Getz denied exposing himself at any point in a subsequent interview, police said.

His preliminary hearing is yet to be scheduled.
