The Friends of the Mars Area Public Library will have a book sale in October to support the library.

The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2; from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3; from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4; and from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5.

People can donate books that are in good condition to the library from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1. Books can be donated in the community room during regular library hours, which will help support the sale.
