Upcoming concerts by the Butler County Symphony Orchestra will give people a taste of the symphony through just a few of its members at a time.

The symphony’s Chamber Music Series aims to highlight a few members of the ensemble at smaller, more intimate shows around Butler County, compared to the group’s season concerts.

The first two will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive in Butler; and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony.

The concerts, which are free to attend, give people the opportunity to meet and talk with the symphony’s musicians.
