Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Aug. 27 — James Elwood Fugh, 48, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 27 incident. Police said Fugh threw a woman on a bed and jumped on her.

Aug. 29 — Christopher Allen Edinger, 37, of Mars, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 2 traffic stop. Police said Edinger had a bag with white powder residue, four smoking pipes and related paraphernalia.

Aug. 29 — Alexis Marie Lamperski, 30, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 2 traffic stop. Police said Lamperski showed signs of impairment and had burnt chore boy.

Butler County Detectives

Aug. 27 — Laura A. Findley, 35, of New Brighton, was charged with four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver, two felony counts of criminal use of a communication device and two misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession following a July 2 incident in Cranberry Township. Police said Findley sold 1.5 grams of cocaine to confidential informants.

Jackson Twp

Aug. 29 — Adam Todd Trubee, 44, of Harmony, was charged with felony failure to register with police following an Aug. 13 incident. Police said Trubee failed to register as a sex offender with state police.

Penn Twp

Aug. 26 — Sydney Johna McCormick, 30, of Butler, was charged with two felony theft counts, felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor unauthorized vehicle use following an Aug. 25 incident. Police said McCormick failed to return a rented vehicle.

State police, Butler

Aug. 25 — Adam Joseph Huber, 33, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 23 incident in Donegal Township. Police said Huber grabbed a woman by the neck and slammed her on the ground.

Aug. 26 — Cameron L. Peth, 26, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a July 13 crash in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Peth had a blood alcohol content of 0.14%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 26 — Grover C. Barclay, 57, of Chicora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Dec. 12 incident in Donegal Township. Police said Barclay had three empty stamp bags, a plastic snorting straw, a glass smoking pipe and a small container with powder and tested positive for fentanyl and THC.

Aug. 27 — Xzavia Marie Adams, 27, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 9 traffic stop in Penn Township. Police said Adams had a blood alcohol content of 0.178%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 27 — Rena C. Bortmes, 55, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 22 traffic stop in Karns City. Police said Bortmes had a blood alcohol content of 0.188%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 28 — Connor Jam Birckbichler, 20, of Evans City, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a June 15 traffic stop in Connoquenessing. Police said Birckbichler showed signs of impairment and tested positive for marijuana.

State police, Lewis Run

Aug. 27 — Craig Patrick Hortert, 31, of Renfrew, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and driving while suspended following a June 14 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Hortert was driving on a suspended license, had two THC gummies, tested positive for marijuana and showed signs of impairment.

State police, Kittanning

Aug. 27 — Jacob Daniel Bracken, 34, of Ford City, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of DUI, controlled substance possession, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 4 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Bracken had two smoking pipes and a corner bag with a white chunky substance and showed signs of impairment.

Aug. 27 — Jennifer Marie Cole, 39, of McKees Rocks, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 26 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Cole showed signs of impairment and tested positive for THC.
