Margaret Humphrey
Our dear mother, Margaret Ellen Miller Humphrey, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, at Orchard Manor in Grove City.
She was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Butler, to the late Clarence Miller and Edna Greenert Miller.
Margaret married Donald Floyd Humphrey on March 16, 1957, in Butler. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1996.
Margaret was the most loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing was more important than family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donald Miller Humphrey, of Slippery Rock, and Sue Jamison (Audie McConnell), of Slippery Rock; three exceptional grandsons and their families, Barry Humphrey (Heather), of Windham, Maine, Brent Humphrey (Kim), of Slippery Rock, and Jason Jamison, of Grove City; eight magnificent great-grandchildren, Damon Isenberg, Greyson Humphrey, Rhenna and Rowan Humphrey, and Braiden, Maddox, Jace and Lyric Jamison.
Also surviving are her sister, Connie (Darrell) LaMotte; brothers, John and Kevin Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harry Hovis, Bob and Carol Humphrey, Karen Humphrey and Linda Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews that meant so much to her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Hovis; as well as a number of beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Rest in peace Mom, you will remain forever in our hearts.
A big heartfelt “Thank You All” to the wonderful people at Orchard Manor in Grove City for the around-the-clock compassionate care for Mom.
HUMPHREY — Per her wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation for Margaret Ellen Miller Humphrey, who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025. There will be a remembrance gathering at a later date.
