Lorraine Ann Skomo, 76, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025.

Born Dec. 2, 1948, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Michael Eugene and Jeanette M. (Pajrowski) Molocznik.

Lorraine graduated from Franklin Regional Senior High School, she then attended the Citizens General School of Nursing. After graduating, she went on to become a successful registered nurse. Lorraine was a very creative person, in her free time she enjoyed painting landscapes and portraits, cake decorating, sewing, floral design and interior design. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, David Skomo; her children, David A. (Monica) Skomo and Darin M. Skomo; her grandchildren, Alec and Nathan; her brother, Thomas Molocznik; and her sister, Joan (the late Robert) Remaley.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robert Remaley.

SKOMO — Friends and family of Lorraine Ann Skomo, who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home.
