Jordan Thomas

Thomas

Jordan Andrew Thomas, 22, of Butler, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025.

He was born June 4, 2003, in Mercer, and was the son of Paul M. Thomas and Shannon L. (Speidel) Thomas.

Jordan graduated from Butler High School in 2022, where he was inducted into the National Honor Society. He went on to attend Slippery Rock University, majoring in marketing, and consistently earning a place on the dean’s list. While pursuing his degree, he also completed an internship at the Butler Eagle.

It brought Jordan a great deal of joy to share his gift of creativity that was demonstrated through every original design and drawing he created. He embraced life with joy and resilience, never allowing challenges to limit him. Known for his infectious humor and quick wit, Jordan brought laughter wherever he went. Jordan also loved eating out and spending time with his friends and cousins. He especially adored his younger cousins, often seen with a crowd of little ones clinging to his wheelchair as he zoomed around with a smile on his face. He truly was the life of the party.

Along with his parents, Jordan will be sadly missed by his siblings, Isaac, Addison, Logan and Alaina; his grandparents, Mark and Bonnie Thomas of Cabot, and William and Barbara Speidel of Butler; as well as his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom he cherished deeply.
