A recent event held at Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation introduced local Girl Scouts to science, technology, engineering and math.
On Saturday, Aug. 23, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania hosted the STEM Sisters Summer Social, a program focusing on hands-on learning experiences.
The daylong event allowed the participants to experiment with 3D printers and electric circuits, complete brick building challenges and more.
