Deadline for SUN Bucks application is Aug. 31
For most children, it’s back-to-school time, but there is still some time left for families to grab summer EBT benefits.
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank reminds eligible families there are a few days remaining to apply for “SUN Bucks,” Pennsylvania’s summer EBT program. Under SUN Bucks, enrolled households receive $120 per eligible child to buy groceries at participating retailers.
The deadline to apply for SUN Bucks is Sunday, Aug. 31. To check eligibility, go to the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services website.
