Ralph T. Davis Sr., 82, of Saxonburg, formerly of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, at his home.

Born Feb. 4, 1943, in Cowansville, he was the son of Robert Davis and Gladys Montgomery Davis.

Ralph worked as a heavy equipment operator for 41 years for Operating Engineers Local 66. He was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Elks USA in Kittanning. He enjoyed gardening, collecting and operating Lionel trains, his weekly visit with the “Village People” of Saxonburg at the Heritage Wine Shop. He also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Rose (Black) Davis, whom he married May 4, 1963; his son, Ralph (Amy) Davis of Sarver; his daughter, Beth (John) Byron of Kittanning; one brother, John “Jack” (Jacquie) Davis of Cowansville; one sister, Janet (Bob) Jesteadt of Prospect; three grandchildren, Chief Warrant Officer 3, Brandon Davis, U.S. Army; Tristan Davis, retired U.S. Air Force; and Staff Sgt. Joelyn Rose Davis, U.S. Air Force; and two great-grandchildren, Elina Rose and Bryce Dalton.

He was preceded in death his parents and one brother, W. Fred Davis

DAVIS — Friends of Ralph T. Davis Sr., who died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Main St., Saxonburg, with the Rev. Douglas M. Dorsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Saxonburg Memorial Church.
