Carolyn Kristophel
Carolyn Lee (Warner) Kristophel, 77, of Middle Lancaster, passed away peacefully under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.
She was born at Ellwood City Hospital on Sept. 11, 1947, and was a 1965 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. She was the daughter of the late Clair and Boneta (Barkley) Warner.
She was always known for her bubbly personality, smiling face and sharing her musical talents with others. Carolyn had a deep faith and served in many ways at Zion Lutheran Church. What brought her the most joy was spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, William Kristophel, whom she married May 17, 1968.
She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie (Donald) Davis; and son, Matthew (Krista) Kristophel. She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Taylor) Rickert, Brody (Gracie) Davis, Brett Davis, Emma and Lucas Kristophel, and Joe and Mike Williams; and three great-grandchildren, Bailey Rickert, and Winona and Wayne Davis. Carolyn also leaves behind her brother, Dale (Judie) Warner; her sister, Marjorie Warner Kopec; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Wimer; along with many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
KRISTOPHEL — A celebration of life service for Carolyn Lee (Warner) Kristophel, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, will be held at a later date.
Carolyn will be laid to rest at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Middle Lancaster.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, Zelienople.
