Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler

Aug. 18 — Cody David Johnson, 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 15 traffic stop. Police said Johnson grabbed a woman’s face.

Aug. 19 — Mark Edward Boyle, 35, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following a June 20 incident. Police said Boyle assaulted a 12-year-old girl over a TV remote.

Aug. 19 — Joshua Sean Young, 39, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of indecent exposure, open lewdness and harassment following an Aug. 6 incident. Police said Young exposed his genitals on the street in front of a person’s residence who they have had “ongoing issues” with.

Aug. 19 — Patrick K. McCormick, 71, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following an Aug. 18 incident. Police said McCormick was urinating in public.

Aug. 19 — Jamel Robert Patton Sr., 29, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor unauthorized vehicle use following an Aug. 11 failure to return a rented vehicle.

Aug. 19 — Tyler Duane Smith, 40, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft following a June 6 incident. Police said Smith stole an envelope with $1,075 in cash.

Aug. 19 — Ryan Mitchell Byers, 24, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 24 crash. Police said Byers had a blood alcohol content of 0.209%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Cranberry Twp

Aug. 19 — Jacquelyn M. Buriak, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy to receive stolen property and reckless endangerment following an Aug. 5 incident. Police said Buriak stole $400.68 in merchandise from Home Depot and quickly drove past three employees in the parking lot as she fled.

Aug. 19 — Nicholas Buriak, 40, of Pittsburgh, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy to receive stolen property following an Aug. 5 incident. Police said Buriak stole $400.68 in merchandise from Home Depot.

Evans City

Aug. 18 — Curt Aaron Adams, 59, of Lyndora, was charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license following an Aug. 12 traffic stop.

Jackson Twp

Aug. 19 — Lauren M. Hertel, 34, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 25 crash. Police said Hertel had a blood alcohol content of 0.171%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

State police, Butler

Aug. 18 — Tyler Andrew Wildsmith, 31, of Sligo, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 18 traffic stop in Brady Township. Police said Wildsmith had a metal grinder with suspected marijuana.

Aug. 18 — Kevin Marlon Hoffman, 21, of Allison Park, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a June 23 incident in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Hoffman had a blood alcohol content of 0.173%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 19 — Savannah Kaye Rogers, 19, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 4 traffic stop in Summit Township. Police said Rogers tested positive for THC and had a blood alcohol content of 0.08%, which is the legal limit.

Aug. 19 — Christopher L. Barnes, 49, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 24 incident in Center Township. Police said Barnes had a rolled marijuana cigarette, a grinder with suspected marijuana residue, rolling papers and suspected marijuana.

Aug. 19 — James John Ford, 42, and Jason Gene White, 46, both of Butler, were each charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a May 7 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Ford and White had 3.32 grams of fentanyl.

Aug. 19 — Corinne Anderson, 63, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 4 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Anderson had crack cocaine, a digital scale and a burned chore boy.

Aug. 19 — Jacob M. Arledge, 26, of Butler, was charged with four misdemeanor DUI counts and misdemeanor marijuana possession following a June 1 crash in Clay Township. Police said Arledge had two grams of marijuana, tested positive for THC, amphetamine and fentanyl and had a blood alcohol content of 0.137%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 19 — Tonya Marie Smith, 35, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a July 29 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Smith had a blood alcohol content of 0.221%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 19 — James Clark Kidd, 30, of McKees Rocks, was charged with five misdemeanor DUI counts, four misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession, three misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and misdemeanor marijuana possession following a June 9 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Kidd had a glass smoking device with suspected marijuana and showed signs of impairment.

Aug. 19 — John Theodore Elliot, 56, of Mars, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 16 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Elliot had a pill bottle with suspected crack cocaine, a glass smoking pipe and tested positive for THC and cocaine.

Aug. 19 — Kristal Lynn Leinenbach, 39, of Lyndora, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a June 16 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Leinenbach had a pill bottle with suspected crack cocaine, a Marlboro pack with suspected crack cocaine and a glass smoking pipe.

Aug. 19 — Alvin David Myers, 59, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of driving with a suspended license, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a July 27 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Myers was driving on a suspended license, had a plastic bag of suspected crack cocaine and a glass smoking device and tested positive for cocaine.

Aug. 19 — Mylan Marie Green, 42, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following a July 27 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Green had a glass smoking device with residue.
