The County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania has named Joe Saeler, executive director of the Butler County Community Development Corporation, as the recipient of the 2025 “Friend of County Government” Award.

He was formally recognized at the Association’s Annual Dinner and Awards Presentation on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Somerset County.

The award aims to recognizes individuals and organizations whose service, leadership and collaboration have made a lasting impact on county government and the communities they serve.
