Judith Crawford
Judith E. Crawford, 86, of East Brady, died peacefully with her family by her side, Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025.
Born Feb. 8, 1939, at home in Kittanning Hollow, she was one of 15 kids of Earl W. and Anne E. (Wyant) Shultz.
On July 26, 1957, Judy married Raymond K. Crawford. They shared 56 years together.
Judy was a member of the United Church of Christ and had worked both as a nurse’s aide at Bradyview Manor and in the cafeteria at Sugarcreek Elementary.
Judy was a farmgirl at heart who enjoyed canning, cooking for her family, baking buns, cinnamon rolls and her famous homemade noodles. She loved bingo and always looked forward to her weekly games. Judy’s grandchildren and family were the light of her life and she enjoyed family picnics and time spent together.
She is survived by four daughters, Cher (Denny) Painter, of Rimersburg, Annie (Ron) Denny, of Worthington, Kay (Bob) Wiles, of East Brady, and Kimberly (Raymond) Coyle, of Fenelton.
Judy is also survived by one sister, Marilyn (James) Rankin, of Rimersburg; two sisters-in-law, Esther Shultz, of Kittanning, and Karen Shultz, of Butler; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Crawford, of East Brady; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond, who died March 8, 2013; one son, Kenneth Crawford; six brothers; seven sisters and two great-grandchildren.
CRAWFORD — Friends of Judith E. Crawford, who died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at the funeral home. Pastor Paul DeBacco will officiate.
Burial in Bradys Bend Cemetery will follow.
