Edna LeVier

LeVier

Edna Marie (Timblin) LeVier went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, after an extended illness.

Born in Parker on Oct. 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Mark W. and Marie A. Timblin. Edna attended Parker Elementary School and was a 1966 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. She worked for several years at Glass Containers Corporation in Parker before dedicating her life to being a full-time housewife.

On June 17, 1966, she married her beloved husband, James W. “Jim” LeVier Sr., in Clintonville, Pa. He survives.

Edna will be remembered for her sense of humor, her dedication to family and her deep love for her grandchildren. She was an avid fan of Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, and she found joy in a good game of bingo, bowling with friends, and trips to Presque Isle Downs & Casino. She also enjoyed her collection of Red Rose Tea figurines and cherished the memories of visiting family in Florida. At home, she loved nothing more than relaxing with her favorite TV shows, including “Matlock,” “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Murder, She Wrote.”

In addition to her husband, Edna is survived by her children, Jackie LeVier of Bruin, James “Jamey” LeVier Jr. (Jennifer) of Huntsville, Ala., and Jill Kriebel (Daniel) of York, Pa. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Cory (Jennifer) Jackson of Indian Trail, S.C., Heather Jackson of Turkey City, Pa., Ashley (Kenton) McNany of Chicora, Ryan Jackson of Turkey City, Matthew (Stephanie) LeVier of Milton, Fla., Makaley Ganger of Harrisburg, Chad (Khory) LeVier of Millington, Tenn., and Wyatt Kriebel and Sadie Kriebel, both of York, Pa.

She also is survived by her siblings, Shirley M. Young of Hilliards, Richard “Dick” Timblin of Chicora, Betty (William) Page of Foxburg, Barbara King of St. Petersburg, Pa., and Joanne (James) Hunsberger of Bruin.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Timblin Jr. and William “Bill” Timblin; her sisters-in-law, Cheryl Elaine Timblin and Carol Timblin; her brothers-in-law, Donald King, Thomas Eiler and Gary Young; and her cherished Dachshund dog, Trevor.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Quality Life Services — Chicora, Butler Memorial Hospital, and the hospice nurses from Concordia Lutheran Ministries of Cabot for their compassionate care.
