Fleming

Susan K. Fleming, 79, of Youngstown, Ohio, formerly of Saxonburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley — Hospice House, in Poland, Ohio.

Born March 17, 1946, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of John Schnieders and Kathryn Pfaff Schnieders.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, painting, reading and her three dogs. She also volunteered for several charitable organizations.

Surviving are her children, Brian (Robin) Schmude of Butler, Robert (Sandy) Schmude of Kingsville, Ohio, Janelle Desanto of Youngstown, Ohio, and Elizabeth (Gary) Coe of Cabot; and eight grandchildren, Conner, Forrest (Olivia), Hunter, Brooke, Vincent, Rebecca, Angela and Brynnae.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene Fleming.

FLEMING — Friends of Susan K. Fleming, who died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at the funeral home, with Father Charles Bober officiating.

Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
