Carol E. Kerr, 83, of Butler, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community.

Born May 14, 1942, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Piper) Reinhart.

Carol was a 1960 graduate of Evans City High School. She enjoyed bingo and playing casino slot machines. She was an avid shopper and baker, often spending her time baking cookies, wedding cakes and the best pumpkin pie. She loved listening to Elvis. She also enjoyed getting her hair done every week. Most of all, she enjoyed holiday family gatherings, and mailing and receiving cards for every occasion.

Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Cheryl (Rich) Eckstein, Cindy (Rick) Gruca, Tim (Amy) Manuel and Todd (Michele) Manuel; her 16 grandchildren; her numerous great-grandchildren; her brother, Harry (Kathy) Reinhart; and her sister, Linda Armstrong.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Kerr; her son, Tom Manuel; and her brother, John Reinhart.

KERR — Family and friends of Carol E. Kerr, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City.

Carol will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens.
