The Butler Farm Show grounds are opening for one night on Tuesday, Aug. 19, to host state Rep. Marci Mustello’s annual Family Fun Night.

The event will feature displays of emergency vehicles, such as fire engines, police cruisers and SWAT vehicles; as well as educational showcases by the Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Union. Numerous costumed mascots will make appearances, including Scoop the Eagle from the Butler Eagle, Rocky from Slippery Rock University, the McDonald’s Hamburglar and Buzzy the Bee of Oliver Outdoor.

Attendees are also asked to bring nonperishable food donations to support the Butler Area School District’s Weekend Backpack Program.

Family Fun Night is open from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
