A Grove City man, who police said was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol, died following a motorcycle crash Tuesday, Aug. 12, in Mercer County.

Police found Jeremy William Gildersleeve, 39, with a heavily damaged Honda motorcycle along Springfield Church Road in Findley Township.

Mercer County Coroner John A. Libonati pronounced Gildersleeve dead at the scene.

Police said preliminary investigations indicated Gildersleeve had been drinking and not wearing a helmet.
