Heginbotham

Donna Jean Heginbotham of Houston, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, following a lengthy period of declining health.

She was born April 24, 1936, in Butler, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ruth Rodgers of East Butler.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Robert L. Heginbotham.

Donna is survived by her two sons, Bruce G. Heginbotham of Charlotte, N.C. and Scott A. Heginbotham of Houston, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Jovita Heginbotham of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandsons, Robert B. Heginbotham of Harrisburg, N.C., and Brice P. Heginbotham of Mary Esther, Fla.; and two great-granddaughters, Nori Linh and Amelia Rose Heginbotham.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joyce (Pearce) Heginbotham of Martinsburg, W.Va.; nephews, Gary Heginbotham of Edenton, N.C., and Larry Heginbotham of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and niece, Lora (Heginbotham) Whitmore of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

A former member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Mountain Lake Park, Md., Donna’s remains were cremated in accordance with her wishes and will be interred beside her husband at Rocky Gap Veteran’s Cemetery in Rocky Gap, Md.
