Join local author and genealogist LuAnn Cherry at the Butler County Genealogy meeting at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, in the basement of Butler Area Public Library.

Cherry will talk about the research she did for her book, “The Old Butler Graveyard,” and will explain how building the yellow brick high school in 1905 forced the disinterment of early Butler citizens.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the talk. Anyone is welcome to attend.
