4 suspects arrested in burglary of Brad Pitt’s home
LOS ANGELES — Four people have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home in June, authorities said Monday night.
A smash-and-grab theft crew hopped a fence at Pitt’s Los Feliz residence on June 25, then ransacked the place and made off with unspecified valuables, police said at the time. Pitt was not home at the time.
Jaquory Arman Watson and Damari Zair Charles, both 18, were two of the four suspects identified Monday, according to KNBC. Watson and Charles were arrested last week for an unrelated burglary in Orange County, sources told the station. The other two suspects have not been publicly identified.
Watson and Charles are being held without bail in Orange County and pleaded not guilty to the other burglary on Monday, Entertainment Weekly reported. Charges in the Pitt burglary are expected to follow.
Investigators believe all four robbers targeted a series of homes in wealthy neighborhoods across Southern California, ABC News reported. They do not believe Pitt was targeted specifically. He was on the road promoting “F1: The Movie” during the break-in.
The break-in at Pitt’s home was one of a number of burglaries affecting various stars across Southern California this summer. In late July, thieves attempted to bust into Teddi Mellencamp’s residence while she was home, and Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s home was targeted the following week.

Jennifer Aniston ‘struggles’ with what to share about new boyfriend
SAN JOSE, Calif. — In a lengthy new cover story in Vanity Fair, Jennifer Aniston opens up a bit about some of the friends, lovers and situations that have generated the most headlines over the past 30 years.
The 56-year-old “Friends” and “Morning Show” star reveals that she and pal Gwyneth Paltrow gossip about Brad Pitt, Aniston’s first husband and Paltrow’s one-time fiancé — though she won’t dish on what they actually say to each other. She also talks about the loss of her good friend and co-star Matthew Perry, who died in 2023 of a ketamine overdose, with drowning in his hot tub as a contributing factor. Aniston said that she and her fellow “Friends” co-stars had already been mourning Perry for “a long time” because of his addiction.
But Aniston is hesitant to say too much about her latest reported love affair with Jim Curtis, a handsome wellness guru, hypnotherapist and “transformational” author.
The Vanity Fair interview actually took place several weeks before news broke in July that Aniston had vacationed with Curtis that month on the Spanish island of Mallorca and in Big Sur sometime earlier
Subsequent stories revealed that Aniston has long followed Curtis on social media, liked his posts and posted a photo of his book, “Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness,” on her own social media, Vanity Fair said. Aniston also told Travel + Leisure in April that she had tried hypnosis to help overcome her fear of flying.
During the interview, Aniston said: “I have a real struggle, truthfully, about what to and not to share … and also, social media is a constant struggle for me.”
When news broke about Aniston’s vacations with Curtis, her representative declined to comment to Vanity Fair about whether the two are dating.
With regard to Aniston and Curtis’ trip to California’s central coast in the spring, a “spy” for Page Six reported seeing the actress and “Hypnotist Jim” at Ventana Big Sur, the luxury report overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The spy said the two “cuddled” while dining at the resort’s restaurant.
For their vacation in Mallorca, Aniston and Curtis were accompanied by her good friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, according to the Daily Mail, which published photos of the foursome meeting up on the island, before they headed to a yacht.
If Aniston wasn’t ready to share news about Curtis with Vanity Fair, another famous friend, Sandra Bullock, said she at least understood the public’s curiosity about her friend’s personal life, which has included two divorces and earlier self-reported efforts to have children via IVF.
“I think her superpower is that she could very easily be hard, but she’s incredibly open,” Bullock told Vanity Fair. “People want to know about her and understand where she is in life and want her to be happy.”

Madonna urges the pope to visit Gaza 'before it's too late'
LONDON — Madonna has urged the pope to travel to Gaza and “bring your light to the children before it’s too late.”
The superstar posted her appeal to the pontiff on social media Monday, saying her son Rocco's birthday prompted her to make the post. Rocco turned 25 Monday.
Addressing Pope Leo XIV, she wrote: “Most Holy Father. Please go to Gaza and bring your light to the children before it’s too late. As a mother, I cannot bear to watch their suffering.
“The children of the world belong to everyone. You are the only one of us who cannot be denied entry,” she added. “We need the humanitarian gates to be fully opened to save these innocent children. There is no more time. Please say you will go. Love, Madonna.”
The singer added that she wasn't taking sides in the war.
“I am not pointing fingers, placing blame or taking sides. Everyone is suffering. Including the mothers of the hostages,” she wrote. “I pray that they are released as well. I am merely trying to do what I can to keep these children from dying of starvation.”
The pope recently renewed his call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, asking the international community to respect humanitarian laws and the obligation to protect civilians.
“I once again call for an immediate end to the barbarity of this war and for a peaceful resolution to the conflict,” the pontiff said last month.
Aid workers and doctors have said that after months of Israeli blockade and turmoil in the distribution of supplies, children in Gaza with no previous conditions are starting to die from malnutrition.
Israel’s air and ground offensive, sparked by Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack into Israel, has displaced most of the some 2 million Palestinians in Gaza and pushed the territory toward famine.
The United Nations said that across Gaza, more than 5,000 children were diagnosed with malnutrition in May, though that is likely an undercount. Malnutrition was virtually nonexistent before the war. Doctors struggle to treat the children because many supplies have run out, the U.N. says.
Israel denies a famine is taking place or that children are starving. It says it has supplied enough food throughout the war and accuses Hamas of causing shortages by stealing aid and trying to control food distribution.
