2 killed in Clairton plant explosion identified
The names of two men killed in the U.S. Steel Clairton Coke Plant explosion have been released.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed 39-year-old Timothy Quinn, of Westmoreland County, and 52-year-old Steven Menefee, of Clairton, died following the explosion Monday, Aug. 11.
Ten other people were injured in the explosion, according to reports.
