Marjorie Fleming
Marjorie Louise (Badger) Fleming, 97, of Osaka, Japan, formerly of Grove City, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Japan, following a one-year illness.
Marjorie was born Aug. 13, 1927, in Foxburg, to Dr. Herman J. and Mary Elizabeth (Fehl) Badger. She married Harry A. Fleming on Aug. 19, 1949.
A 45-year resident of Osaka, Marjorie was self-employed as a conversational English teacher. She formerly was a school nurse at Sandy Lake Elementary School.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Grove City.
Marjorie was a graduate of Grove City High School and Shadyside School of Nursing, Pittsburgh. She attended both Slippery Rock University and Word of Life Bible Institute.
She is survived by two sons, Harry (Kathy) Fleming Jr. of Smethport, Pa., and Joel (Joyce) Fleming of Mercer; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
